Elizabeth ‘Lizz’ Reeves performs the role of Alyson in Rogers & Hammerstein’s A Grand Night for Singing at The Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center, November 2nd through November 19th, produced by The Desert Foothills Theater, directed and choreographed by Dee Dee Wood, and musically directed by Flora Mogerman. Additional members of the cast (in alphabetical order) include: Chris Fidler (Jason), Amy Powers (Vicky), Janine Smith (Lynne), and Brian Sweis (Gregg).

Originally a cabaret show at Rainbow and Stars, A Grand Night for Singing has been expanded into a smooth two-hour entertainment in which five singers run through three dozen Rodgers and Hammerstein songs. An upbeat and contemporary musical revue, A Grand Night for Singing offers a fresh take on the genius of Rodgers & Hammerstein. With innovative musical arrangements of songs from your favorite Rodgers & Hammerstein musicals, this fun-filled show demonstrates how terrifically up-to-date Rodgers and Hammerstein’s remarkable songs remain.
